PSYCHOTHERAPY
Sometimes life becomes more difficult than we expected.
Sometimes we can work things through on our own. Sometimes we need the time, space and support to make sense of what we are experiencing.
People come to therapy for many different reasons.
Sometimes it is anxiety, depression, OCD or intrusive thoughts. Sometimes it is a relationship or family difficulty, fertility treatment or IVF, pregnancy-related experiences, loss, grief or a significant life transition. Sometimes the pressures of work have begun to affect life outside it. And sometimes there is no single reason - only a feeling of being stuck, unhappy or no longer fully in control of your own life.
Whatever brings you to therapy, it offers the opportunity to understand yourself more fully and explore new ways of thinking, feeling and responding.
A thoughtful, collaborative approach
No two people are the same, and neither is the work we do together. I provide a confidential and supportive space where we can explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we make sense of what is happening, develop greater awareness and work towards lasting change.
Therapy can help us understand both the difficulties we face today and the patterns or earlier experiences shaping the way we relate to ourselves, to other people and to the world around us.
