WHERE THE WORK BEGINS
Greater awareness creates greater choice.
The questions people bring are rarely the whole story.
An organisation may describe a leadership problem. A team may feel stuck. An executive may be struggling with a difficult decision. Someone may come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed or uncertain.
The experiences are different, but they often have something in common: the issue that first presents itself is not always the issue that most needs attention.
Rather than beginning with assumptions or predefined solutions, I begin by listening, asking thoughtful questions and looking beyond the obvious.
Sometimes the challenge is exactly as it first appears. Often it is not.
When we understand the patterns, relationships, beliefs and dynamics shaping a situation, new possibilities emerge. Better decisions become possible. Conversations become easier. People lead with greater confidence. Change becomes more sustainable.
Understanding is not the end of the work. It is where the work begins.
